Strengthening allied organizations in violent conflicts

Najwa Salbistor started a local peace club for the students at the school where she was teaching after having completed a training in nonviolence with ONAD.
Through nonviolent methods, SweFOR works for peace and human rights with allied organizations. The support is economic as well as thematic.
In South Sudan, SweFOR works in cooperation with the Organization for Nonviolence and Development (ONAD), Integrated Development Organization (IDO) and Community Empowerment for Progress Organization (CEPO).
In the region of Maghreb, we work to strengthen the capacity of youth activists to use nonviolent methods and analysis in peace building processes.
In Colombia, the right to refuse to provide military service (conscientious objection) is limited. Together with Justapaz, an allied organization, we work to change this situation.
We are one of the donors of ACOGUATE, an accompaniment project in which we also participate with peace observers.
